What is Citronella oil most commonly used for?

In the cosmetics industry, organic citronella oil is used to create fresh perfumes, wonderfully scented creams and wonderfully smelling soaps. Organic citronella oil is added to household cleaning products such as washing powder, detergent or window cleaner liquid. Room fragrances containing organic citronella oil should also dispel unpleasant odors such as tobacco, fish or sweat. While most people find the smell of citronella oil very pleasant, insects such as flies or mosquitoes don't like it at all. The organic citronella oil is therefore often added to natural insect repellents.

For the food industry, its use is only important in small quantities. Then, for example, liqueurs can be flavored with organic citronella oil.

For example, the organic citronella oil goes well with bergamot, eucalyptus, orange, peppermint, sandalwood or lemon.
